A New Sister

I officially have a new sister:-)  Last night  my Brother-in-law married an amazing woman and we are so proud of him!  We always knew Eva was "the one".   Congrats Jason and Eva on your beautiful life!  Here are a few pictures to sum things up:-)

My sweet angels (Bear looks like she's hurting..... she's just uncomfortable! Ha)

Baby Cakes

The whole gang!!  Hubs was the best man, Cakes was a flower girl, and Bo Jack was the banner boy... such a cute idea!  Wish I had a picture....  he held a banner that said "Here comes the bride" and after the ceremony it flipped over and said "Just Married"... so cute!  They all did a great job:-)

Bear and Baby Cakes.  Grandma made their outfits... they were stunning:-)

The beautiful bride!  She did an amazing job putting all of this together!  Everything was simple yet tasteful!

Mr. and Mrs.:-)

Bayou Wildlife Park Dickinson, Tx

For those of you that live near or around Houston, Bayou Wildlife Park in Dickinson, Tx is a must to visit!  Hub's stepdad's best friend for 60 years owns this place and it's been featured in National Geographic for it's amazing animals!  We can't get enough of it and try to go every summer!  The cost is about $18 per adult and $9 for children, and worth every penny!  I highly encourage you to pack a picnik and take a day trip for an afternoon full of awesomness:-)  Here are some pictures of our visit yesterday!

This is the Jeep we took on our "safari adventure"

Baby Cakes was thrilled with the animals and not a bit scared!  This poor goat was as big around as she was tall:-)  I'm guessing she had a couple of babies in there!

This picture cracks me up.... of all of my kids, Bear is my ultimate animal lover!  This sweet little doe loved her right back:-)

This guy just wanders around the park hoping to catch a crumb or two from your picnik:-)

Bayou Wildlife Park was offered $200k for this big boy!   Of course they wouldn't take it!  Isn't he lovely?

This was one of the four giraffes @ the park!  Bayou Wildlife sports a brand spankin' new little boy named Sparkie measuring in at 6 ft. tall!

All the kiddos goofing around:-)

Our sweet friends came out to enjoy the park with us!

The animals chase the Jeep wanting to eat!  We always get there early in the morning so the animals are good and hungry!

Isn't this baby the cutest thing ever?  The top picture is of momma ostrich and the bottom is of her baby that follows her everywhere:-)

This girl is enjoying the bucket of food that she snagged from Bo Jack:-)  Somehow these animals have figured out just how to push down on the buckets hard enough for the kids to drop them!

This guy slobbered all over the kids- good thing for baby wipes!!

This picture doesn't pertain to the wildlife park, but afterwards we drove into Galveston and took a walk on the Strand and bought a few gifts:-)  This is what we saw along the seawall on the way!  It was too amazing not to photograph and share!

Kitten Kisses

She seriously LOVES this kitten:-)  We've bottle fed this baby ever since she was 4 days old!  Animal control was going to take her, her siblings and her stray momma and my neighbor and I decided to rescue them!  She is so sweet and playful, and it's been an awesome nurturing experience for my kids!

Just Because:-)

Because these little one's hold the key to my heart........

We live in a historic little growing town.  If you go downtown, there are tons of historic parks, staged houses, soaring oak trees, and fields of bluebonnets and wildflowers in the spring!  It's the perfect place for taking pictures, so my mother-in-law and I took a trip out there to photograph the kids!  Other than it being 103 degrees outside today, I think it went great:-)

Weekend @ the Bayhouse

I love that my family can totally throw together short trips literally overnight!  Here's some pictures of our weekend with a couple of my cousins and their kiddos!  Our family had a blast staying up late laughing our stomachs sick, watching our kids be best friends just like we grew up, and continuing to grow family bonds that will last a lifetime:-)

7:00 a.m. and ready for a day full of fun!

Checking the crab trap we put out the night before.....

We got one!!!

My sweetest most precious boy:-)

Bear opted to help mommy with a sand castle turtle!

For the record... seagulls love cookies... and will poop on your shoe if fed:-)

My munchkins all in a row!

I see a mud fight totally escalating...lol

Mud fight ON!!!

Let's burry our legs!!

Sweet Baby Cakes

My hunka burnin' love:-)  This picture reminds me of the day we first met- on a wave runner on the lake!

Best buddies 4 life!

We couldn't keep these boys out of the water if we wanted to!

Pretty Girl Cakes:-)

Bear was a little scared to get on the wave runner:-(

Cakes and her cousin crabbing

My favorite men!

The guys went on an evening fish...
