Just Because:-)

Because these little one's hold the key to my heart........

We live in a historic little growing town.  If you go downtown, there are tons of historic parks, staged houses, soaring oak trees, and fields of bluebonnets and wildflowers in the spring!  It's the perfect place for taking pictures, so my mother-in-law and I took a trip out there to photograph the kids!  Other than it being 103 degrees outside today, I think it went great:-)

Weekend @ the Bayhouse

I love that my family can totally throw together short trips literally overnight!  Here's some pictures of our weekend with a couple of my cousins and their kiddos!  Our family had a blast staying up late laughing our stomachs sick, watching our kids be best friends just like we grew up, and continuing to grow family bonds that will last a lifetime:-)

7:00 a.m. and ready for a day full of fun!

Checking the crab trap we put out the night before.....

We got one!!!

My sweetest most precious boy:-)

Bear opted to help mommy with a sand castle turtle!

For the record... seagulls love cookies... and will poop on your shoe if fed:-)

Happy Fourth of July!

Here are a few pictures of our 4th of July weekend!  We had family down from Dallas and the kiddos swam their hearts out day in and day out for three days straight:-)  The kids had their own little parade in the cul-de-sac.  We fried fish, ate gumbo (my first attempt- hehe), bbqed and the guys played "cornhole"..... good food and great times!!!

My girls, my two nieces, and Cakes bestest friend:-)

My sweet baby:-)

Melt mommy's heart!

This picture cracks me up.  My sweet baby cakes and my rough and tumble nephew fought the entire weekend!  They are both the babies and wanted their way:-)

My little dare devil trying new tricks in the pool:-)

Last but not least, the official cornhole champions:-) This is hubs, two of his brothers, and his dad.  Don't look at the garden behind them- I'm so embarrassed!  The weeds have taken over- I promised my hubby a better fall garden:-)
